E-Trade Baby

I thought this was one of the better commercials that aired during the Super Bowl. The main drive behind the ad is humor and the use of a talking baby buying stock. It also uses the plain folks tactic, showing that if a baby can buy stock, than anyone can. The production techniques were kept simple, with one continuous close up shot for the duration of the ad. I thought there was also use of Warm Fuzzies, because everyone loves babies, as well as beautiful people, for the same reason. All in all, these commercials were pretty funny and were clear in what they were trying to do: get people to check out the stock market via E-Trade.
